Duke is out shopping with his wife, Angel.
"How come everytime I am out shopping with you, you buy nothing but cosmetics?"
"Don't you want me to look pretty? "
"Yes. But do you really need that much? "
"Well, since you put it that way, I guess I don't, do I? "
"Of course you don't. "
"Do you really think I look pretty enough without cosmetics? "
"Sure. Besides, you're spending a fortune. "
"Oh, I see. You're interested in nothing but money. You don't really care how I look. "
"Come on, be reasonable. You're married, who's going to look at you anyway?"
"Make your own dinner tonight!"
"Me and my big mouth!..."
都怪我多嘴。。I should blame me and my big mouth,
Me and my big mouth...这几乎已经成了固定的用法。

这个fight不一定是打架，也可能是quarrel.

Duke, can also be a family name, and it has a meaning, too. So if you see minor d, a duke is a position in a royal family, just below the prince.

shop, let's go shopping, 的时候，shop是动词，不及物，不能直接跟宾语。You can say, "he's buying something," but you can't say "He's shopping something. ". You can say,"He's shopping FOR something. "
"How come everytime I am out shopping with you, you buy nothing but cosmetics?"
(how come, 与why的区别与用法不用多说吧？
Whenever, everytime,
You buy nothing but cosmetics?
you buy nothing except cosmetics?
"Don't you want me to look pretty? "
(pretty, adj, 漂亮的，adv, very的意思。
"Yes. But do you really need that much? "
（你真需要那么多cosmetics吗？这个化妆品通常就用复数式cosmetics, 不可数。所以用了much.
perfume, 香水。有两种念法，第一音节和第二音节都可以重读。
a bottle of perfume.
cologne, 古龙香水，一般是男性用的。a bottle of cologne.
fingernail polish, 指甲油。
lipstick, 口红。唇膏。Today your lipstick is much nicer than yesterday's.
lipstick, 可以是可数的，a lipstick, two lipsticks, 表示一支二支口红。但涂在脸上后就是不可数的了。She's wearing some lipstick today. 她今天涂了口红。
"Well, since you put it that way, I guess I don't, do I? "
（since you put it that way, 既然你这么说，
Let me put it another way, in other words.
Let me put it this way, let me put it that way,
Do I,
Do I need that much, do you think I shouldn't wear so much, I don't need to wear that much?
"Of course you don't. "

(Do you really think I look pretty enough without wearing makeup?
"Sure. Besides, you're spending a fortune. "
(You can easily tell that the husband is a little bit miserly. stingy. cheap,
You are spending a fortune,
You are spending too much money.
It costs a fortune!
It costs me a fortune to...
It cost me a fortune to vacation in HongKong. 这里的vacation是作动词了。

(You love money only, you don't want to part with your money. 你不想跟钱分手。
to part with, 跟。。分手。
